Anyone who tries to use PowerPoint for manuscript figures deserves all the pain they get.  Stick to Photoshop, stick to .tiff or native Photoshop format, and you will have no platform problems.

Anyone who can't transfer TIFFs between Macs and PCs has much deeper problems.</description>
